ADL Fashion Week shines a spotlight on South Australia's fashion industry
South Australia's premier fashion festival, ADL Fashion Week (AFW) celebrates and supports our state's fashion industry and provides a platform for the diverse scope of beauty, arts, food and creative industries.
The festival celebrates fashion as a creative expression, a dynamic retail sector and a key economic contributor.
South Australia’s fashion sector represents 16 per cent of creative industries employment here in South Australia, and contributes $218 million to the state’s economy, excluding retail.
This year's AFW will include a three-day curated, culturally diverse and inclusive program with runway events, workshops, unique experiences, and innovative activations and collaborations between 11 - 13 October 2024.
The festival reminds us of the mecca of creative talent we have in South Australia, and why it's important to Buy SA. For SA. to support local designers and brands. Supporting local keeps profits in the state and helps local brands establish a strong base, which is essential if they are to grow into new markets.
