SA INDEPENDENT BEER INDUSTRY
There are currently over 80 South Australian independent breweries in operation across the state (see full list below), many of which are small family run businesses that employ locally and are more than just a brewery, they are part of their community. They need our support to stay in business and help them to continue to produce quality beers and experiences into the future.

The independent beer industry contributes approximately $120 million revenue to the South Australian economy per annum and employs over 2,000 people. It is also a regional economic driver though tourism, employment and horticulture.

It's a tough time for the independent craft beer industry as a whole. Between the challenging COVID years, increasing costs of materials and utilities, cost of living, pricing competition from the multinational breweries and staff shortages, the industry needs our support now more than ever.

We know how much South Australians love to support local brands and businesses, so let’s continue to Buy SA. For SA. and together, we can ensure the continued success of this vibrant industry that we all love.
